A fan favorite at blue grass festivals and numerous other amusement parks, the Flat River Band - Chad, Dennijo, and Andy Sitze have picked their way through their blue-grass, gospel roots to create their own established sound. The trilogy of brothers are writing lyrics that are not shy of depth, intellect or meaning. Their strong family ties not only resonate in their harmonies but also in their lyrics. That’s about the easiest way to say it about Brian Sutherland.  Part Americana singer songwriter with a clever left hand on the guitar, part classical cellist, side-man musician, storyteller, father and husband who happens to love billiards, bourbon and a brand new song. 

Raised on the Southwest Florida beaches and brought up in bars packed with tourists and passerby’s, Sutherland honed his craft for storytelling.  He knew if he could keep a crowd of Parrotheads and Pirates, he could do it anywhere.  

Brian's been an off air finalist for The Voice and American Idol, as well as performing and touring with The Beach Boys, John Paul White (The Civil Wars), Michael Ray and Blessing Offor.  Since his Nashville relocation, he’s penned hundreds of songs and showcased on every major stage the city has to offer.  His most recent album, “Sounds Like Love” was celebrated with a performance at the famed Bluebird Cafe.

I bring an intimate but fun and laid-back vibe to my live performances. I enjoy playing originals as well as throwing in covers now and then. Typically, I'll choose to cover songs by artists who inspire my original music to foster coherency as well as variety in my sets. This often encompasses artists in both the commercial-pop (i.e. Adele, Sara Bareilles, Alicia Keys) and pop-country (i.e. Kacey Musgraves, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini) spheres. I ordinarily favor one genre or the other depending on what my audience and/or the venue is looking for. 

The music I've written since 2021 has departed from the country genre and more heavily pulls inspiration from my favorite female pop artists of today (Maggie Rogers, Renee Rapp, Taylor Swift). My music tends to blur the lines between carefree and reflective, nostalgic and fresh. Sharing my music with audiences of all shapes and sizes means the world to me; I pour my heart and soul into every single project and performance.

DJ P-Lo is the best of the best! From the very start of our engagement Patricio was super easy to communicate with and eager to answer any questions. When it came to entertainment he was a class act! Amazing trumpet player, rapper
and DJ - he kept our wedding guests engaged from the cocktail hour through dinner and big
time on the dance floor. He even let me (the bride) get behind his equipment and wear his
headphones / "deejay" for a song. Everything went perfectly and all of our top song requests were played. It was the best time and I had a ton of guests say they wanted his information for future events. 10/10 would recommend!!!

We hired the TTH band to headline our annual summer festival. Our audiences experienced the magic of the 70s and 80s as they brought to life some of the greatest hits and fan favorites from the soulful southern rock sounds of the Marshall Tucker Band to the harmonic melodies of Pure Prairie League and the unforgettable tunes of Loggins and Messina, they've got it all covered. We have already booked them for next year and look forward to seeing the band again.

A Harmonious Journey Through Classic Country Rock
They took us on a delightful journey through the golden era of classic country rock and jam band music, and they provided a masterclass in reviving the 70's and 80's sound. Frontman Rick Huckaby's charismatic stage presence and vocals were the heart and soul of the show. His rendition of hits like "Heard It in a Love Song" and "Amie" was nothing short of spectacular. Huckaby's voice captured the essence of the original artists, evoking nostalgia for those who cherished these tunes during their heyday and introducing them to a new generation. The other six musicians in the band were top-notch, seamlessly delivering the intricate harmonies and instrumental solos that are the hallmark of this genre. The crowd, spanning all age groups, reveled in the music. It was heartwarming to see young and old alike grooving to the timeless melodies and intricate jams.

Nashville, the heart of country music, served as the perfect backdrop for Take the Highway Tribute Band's spellbinding performance. Comprising seven top-notch musicians, including the exceptional frontman Rick Huckaby, this ensemble took us on a nostalgic journey through the classic 70's and 80's country rock and jam band music that defined an era.

The setlist, featuring hits from the Marshall Tucker Band, Pure Prairie League, and Loggins and Messina, transported the audience to a time when these songs ruled the airwaves. Rick Huckaby's vocals were a revelation, capturing the essence of each original artist with precision and passion. Whether it was the soulful drawl of "Can't You See" or the mellowness of "Danny's Song," Huckaby's voice tugged at the heartstrings.

But it wasn't just Huckaby who shone; the entire band's chemistry was palpable. The harmonies were spot on, and the instrumental solos were electrifying.
