Since 2013, the Brass Animals, have delighted audiences of all shapes and sizes at corporate events, weddings, private and special events, and sporting events all over the country. Our sound fuses the popular New Orleans-style brass band style with an eclectic blend of hip-hop, R&B, funk and pop. Typical performances include explosive renditions of recent favorites by artists like Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Aaliyah, Bad Bunny, and Janelle Monáe, as well as our own spin on vintage classics by Louis Armstrong, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Herbie Hancock, The Meters and more.

We’ve worked with the established companies and organizations like the Oakland Raiders, Google, Jack Daniels, Salesforce, the San Jose Earthquakes, St. Elmos Brewing Company, Genentech, and Marriott International. We’ve also performed for many engaged couples and newlyweds and have been recognized as a 2018 Couples Choice Award Winner by WeddingWire.

Contemporary Violinist Brooke Alford is an R&amp;B/Soul Jazz National Charting Artist, Smooth Jazz Network 2022 Breakout Artist Nominee, International Teaching Artist, Recording Academy Voting Member, and a 2022 Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Listee. Often compared to the likes of world-renowned Violinist Regina Carter (who Ms. Alford performed for during Mrs. Carter’s Atlanta Jazz Festival masterclass), Noel Pointer, and Jean Luc Ponty. Ms. Alford has gained inspiration from these three pioneers of contemporary violin playing along with several other instrumental and vocal artists through her decades of playing.

Ms. Alford has been coined as “The Viosocalist” and “The Artist of the Violin” since the start of her 2007 career because of her smooth, soulful, and vocal-like sound and approach in her playing. Ms. Alford has recorded and released 2 LPs and 3 EPs.

We had the ToonHeadz team on campus for an employee-focused corporate event and they were the highlight of the day's activities. From the custom caricature drawings to the balloon twister team making customer balloon characters for us, it was a huge hit with all our employees! The lines were long, but the teams worked quickly to get everyone done. They were prompt, friendly and very talented folks. Can't wait to have them back again!

Leanne “L-Stringz” Holmes is a Hip-Hop/RnB violinist from Atlanta, GA. Classically, trained for close to two decades, L-Stringz has performed for and with some of the top venues/artists to date including: The Atlanta Hawks, The Atlanta Dream, The Harlem Globetrotters, Honda Battle of the Bands, 2 Chainz, 50 Cent, 85 South Show, Def Jam and more. Additionally, L-Stringz has been featured on shows such as Married to Medicine, and  “STAR” on FOX as well as programs for the NFL, WNBA, CIAA, New York Fashion Week, The Reginald F Lewis Museum,  and Rolling Out “Sisters with Super Powers” series. 

L-Stringz has covered many artists including Beyonce, Ella Mai, Tamia, Ed Sheeran, Aaliyah, Juvenile, and more. Unlike other artists, L-Stringz has NO limit to what she can play as she is classically trained which allows for a range of options. Typically, L-Stringz performs solo with backing tracks (and acoustically when necessary), but when budget allows can provide a live band accompaniment!

Levi De Ville is a singer/songwriter and guitarist specializing in Blues, Rock, and Country music.  Levi has made a name for himself performing along side legends such as the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Derek St. Holmes of Ted Nugent and Marlon Hunter (producer for Little Richard and Prince). Levi started out playing drums at the age of 10 and picked up the guitar at the age of 14. He joined a band at the age of 16 called Blues Berry Jam with his dad. Later he joined a band with Freddie Hughes. After years of working with other bands Levi stepped out on his own and formed a band called Triple Threat with his brother on bass and Jeff Nickelson on drums. Levi began to record his own original songs at the age of 17. He has been working for 20+ years writing and recording his own songs, performing every instrument on all of his songs. Levi’s career began to take oﬀ after winning the best new talent award from BMI at a showcase in Nashville TN. Levi has a sound steeped in Rock, Blues & Country.

The Neon Queen was created in 2018 out of a desire to do something unique to honor the timeless songwriting of ABBA. Their fully customizable show covers the hits like “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia” and highly danceable singles like “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” and “Take A Chance On Me.” Woven throughout the show, you will also experience musical mashups featuring other music icons like Madonna, Britney Spears, Donna Summer, and even Dolly Parton. 

Performing at festivals and in venues across the U.S., The Neon Queen has been fortunate to headline alongside such diverse acts as Sister Sledge and Vanilla Ice -- and was recently a featured performer on The Beach Boys Cruise.

Fusing his modern R&B sound with his love for Jazz and Hip Hop, Justin Ruff has created a sound all his own. His unique style has garnered the attention of JET Magazine, ONE Musicfest, NBC’s 11Alive, and countless blogs and radio stations.

The singer-songwriter has shared the stage with a who’s who of influential artists from Summer Walker and Rae Sremmurd to Ginuwine and more.

Fall 2019, he was voted the people’s choice to open Atlanta’s ONE Musicfest. This came just 2 years after he earned a spot to headline the Bud Light Stage at the Taste of Chicago.

Ruff is set to release new music March 2023, and he says this will be his most personal project to date.
