After a decade of making music together with other projects, Jc Balserak, Shane Hurtado, and Sean McCann have embraced the fire and ferocity of their rock band history, and married it to a new, ethereal melodyscape with Ouro. Brandishing techniques made popular in progressive guitar music as well as production techniques from popular music, the band aims to create intricate songs presented in an addictively digestable way. Creating intuitive and evocative listening experiences through emotional connection and relatability is Ouro's main goal. 
 Influenced by genres ranging from metal to jazz, the band Ouro has been compared by audiences to artists like CHON, Rx Bandits, The Mars Volta, and The Dear Hunter.
