Chicago-based rock band Microcosms is fuzzy, punky, and punchy. Their songs rollick with a sense of urgency as they channel the introspective thoughts of a frustrated but optimistic person trying to navigate an increasingly delusional world. Andrew Tschiltsch (vox, guitar) started the band in 2015 alongside Bryan Emer, whose delightfully heavy yet funky bass lines dance with the crunchy lead guitar. Jered Piepenbrink’s vibrant drumming drives the heartbeat of every song, while Ronn Richardson uses guitars and keys to provide that sweet sweet ear candy.
