Established in 2004, Rewind Band has been a trusted name in the private events industry for over 20 years with a rich history of talent. Known for interactive, quality entertainment for both corporate and private events. Our shows are versatile, customizable, & suitable for all age ranges. The band features 8 musicians, with horns, and 2 vocalists, including Cozy Len, our male lead vocalist, as seen on The Voice, Season 26! Our band manger, Mary Thomas, is in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Durand Jones of Durand Jones & the Indications got his start fronting Rewind and our founder/drummer, Nick Dimaio, has shared the stage with top artists including ZZ Top, Hank Williams Jr, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, BB King, & Vince Gill to name a few. We have an extensive list of corporate clients including Popeye's Chicken, Chevron, Toyota, Wyndam, New York Life, etc. The band travels & is completely self contained with its own sound & lighting. Genres: Pop, Motown, Rock, Jazz, Themed events, etc.

Wedding - Groom

We hired rewind for our Wedding Reception in the ballroom of the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans for our Wedding on New Year’s Eve. They played a roughly four hour set from 8:30pm to 12:30am, with two short breaks. The band’s setlist was comprehensive with a good number of standard rock/pop/soul, etc. songs to choose from. (Rewind's performance was) excellent, their playing was tight and full of energy, and several of our guests complemented the fun and excitement they brought to the reception. They interacted with the guests organically and kept people on the dance floor the entire night. Their renditions of Hey Ya! by OutKast and Proud Mary by Tina Turner were definite highlights. They also learned and performed live an abridged version of Simple Man by Lynard Skynard for the Groom and Mother of the Groom dance, at my (the Groom’s) request which was a massive hit with the entire reception.

Wedding - Bride

INCREDIBLE band! Once people joined the dance floor they didn't leave. Everyone told me and my family how much they loved the band. They play a variety of songs and do a great job of getting everyone dancing. Additionally, they do a great job communicating with you leading up to the event. I would recommend this band to any bride and grooms planning a wedding!

Rewind Band was incredible at my daughter's wedding. They were very professional and well dressed. They attracted all ages to the dance floor and everyone had a blast from the 20 year old to the 80 year old. We wanted this to be an event everyone remembered and Rewind delivered. Mary was quick to answer all questions I had and was a pleasure to work with. All my expectations were met with Rewind. Everyone loved the band and had a wonderful time. I have also attended two other weddings where Rewind performed and they are always so much fun. You will not be disappointed if you hire Rewind Band for your wedding or any other events. They can also provide add ons such as uplighting and stage rental and you will not find a better price.
