Renée Gros is a singer-songwriter born, raised, and based in New Orleans, LA. Players including Jon Cleary (Bonnie Raitt), Nigel Hall (Lettuce), and Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) helped bring her debut EP, Temporary Love, to life in the studio. Since it's release in July of 2022, Gros has played her original music on stages like Maple Leaf Bar, the world-famous Tiptina's, and The Broadside as the opener for up-and-coming New Orleans funk band, The Rumble, created by seven members of multi-Grammy-nominated band Cha Wa. Her song "Shy Guy" is featured in A24's Netflix series, Survival of the Thickest, starring comedian Michelle Buteau. She is hitting the road for a late summer duo tour this August with Tiago Guy, the Brazilian-born singer- songwriter with whom she is working on her upcoming debut album with.
