Merna Lewis, The Barefoot Fiddler

Merna Lewis is a Colorado native with a rich musical heritage spanning at least four generations. Every melody born from years of unprecedented passion, education, tenacious dedication and persistence, she is a force behind the fiddle. You don’t just listen to Merna play the fiddle; you feel her play the fiddle. Merna is a three-time International Western Music Association’s Musician of the Year nominee; and featured in a number of media publications including Fiddler Magazine: Play Fiddle Play, Winter 2002 edition; The Human Interest Story "The Becoming of the Barefoot Fiddler" - 2020. She has also recorded Clayton Q's "Kiss my Kash" - intro jingle for Jack Vale's podcast on CircleAllAccess; Mark Allen's "Have Guitar Will Travel" PBS Docuseries; "Coast 2 Country" jingle for Lisa Galvani's Radio Show (C2C) - Lyme Bay Radio, UK; toured with Terri Clark, Tanya Tucker, Jimmy Fortune, Larry Fleet, Karen Waldrup; recorded on numerous records and singles, and more.
