Sir’ Chantz Powell

Sir’ Chantz Powell, from New Orleans, is an international recording artist and powerhouse entertainer. Singer, trumpeter, dancer, composer, and actor; Sir’ Chantz Powell is one of the most interesting artists in the new generation of musicians out of New Orleans, the cradle of jazz. With a mix of influences from the schools of several generations of American musicians, Sir’ Chantz is something like Sammy Davis Jr. combined with Usher. As an international recording artist, Chantz has toured throughout Europe, Asia, and Scandinavia. When he was sixteen he signed a contract with Decca/Universal Records and recorded the extraordinary album Stories of Me. In July 2009, Chantz was requested as a headliner for the Oprah “Cruise of a Life Time” on the NCL Gem Cruise Ship. Since the age of 15, this singer, trumpeter, dancer, songwriter, producer, and actor has been a headliner before crowds of 40,000+ throughout Asia and Europe.
