Dave Washburn Jazz Band

We are a 6 piece traditional New Orleans style group, playing hot jazz, swing, dixieland, big band tunes and other varieties. You may hear some Sinatra style "croon tunes," an Elvis or Chuck Berry song or maybe even a polka or two, especially around Oktoberfest season. We have played many venues in the Metroplex, including weddings, corporate & private events, swing dances, parades, State Fair of Texas, and even some jazz funerals. Sometimes we have more musicians join us or swing dancers who always add some fun to the mix. Other settings call for a smaller, quieter group. If you are planning a dinner, cocktail hour or brunch you might enjoy having my trio or quartet to create a classy, jazzy ambiance for the occasion. Club/restaurant proprietors might like that style for weekend brunches. We can offer a variety of music from "soft and sweet" to "Bourbon Street."
