Powers is a true singer songwriter, weaving together country and folk in each timeless performance.
Based in Nashville, Powers melds a warm country tone from her South Alabama upbringing with thoughtful storytelling inspired by folk singer-songwriters of the 1970s. Powers began her career in 2012, at age 11, when she released the single “Alabama Kinda Girl” accompanied by the music video featuring country star Pam Tillis. She is also a member of Pam Tillis’ band, playing rhythm guitar and singing regularly on the Grand Ole Opry stage and across the country. She recently graduated from Belmont University with a degree in songwriting, has performed at several festivals including Americana Fest, Dripping Springs, Red Lodge, 30A and was a 2024 Finalist in the Kerrville Folk Fest’s New Folk Competition.
Headlining venues such as the Bluebird Cafe, The Halstead Amphitheatre and The Basement, Powers has shared the bill with acts like Red Clay Strays, Band of Heathens, Sister Hazel and more. Previously featured on CMT’s Next Women of Country Playlist, she is an artist to watch.
