Mara Sol is a singer/songwriter and storyteller, based in Coachella Valley, California. Coming from a musical family, she has been on stage since age 7, and trained in classical voice through university. After a break from her early years performing, the artist found her way into songwriting spurred by a COVID project to learn guitar and produce music herself. In her 'other life' she is a tech industry marketing professional, and relates to others in the corporate world through her stories. Drawing influences from artists like James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, and Sarah McLachlan, her songwriting channels her past experiences and the lessons learned along the way. Her sound reflects these eclectic life experiences - a nostalgic blend of pop, alt-folk, and alt-rock. Her vocals are compared to the likes of Joan Baez and Linda Ronstadt. “My goal as an artist and songwriter is to focus on positive outcomes even in hard times.
