Eugene “With the Talking Sax” Peebles is one of the most accomplished musical talents currently available to perform at any event or function in the St. Louis area music scene. The “Talking Sax” produces a captivating sound on the tenor saxophone which showcases his unique combination of passion, talent and ability to entertain no matter the style of music.
The “Talking Sax” is able to command the stage front and center as well as enhance any event with background music. Peebles customizes his set lists for each occasion. He draws from a wide range of selections from his extensive repertoire of contemporary or classical jazz, R&B, gospel, oldies but goodies and just about any variety of popular music selections.
The “Talking Sax” is a classically trained musician who studied music from an early age. Eugene’s musical career began following a horrific bicycle accident when he was ten years old. His family drew upon their faith and belief in God to heal Eugene.

Outstanding sounds and energy
Even before booking, Eugene was simply the best! He shared his condolences to our family in a wonderful message and then we talked business. In my time of beverement I appreciated his kind gesture.
My Dad was a music enthusiasts before his passing. Honoring my Dads wishes for his Memorial Service, live music would really give the service some energy. I discussed this with Eugene and he said "I'll make it memorable" "I got it". Eugene did not disappoint. Memorable is an understatement. The Sax Man created the vibe and energy needed. He was absolutely incredible!! Everyone including the funeral home director/owner has praised his talent and amazing skills and energy. My and I so grateful for experience of The Sax Man. I highly recommend.

Phenomenal - Amazing - Stellar Performance
Eugene gave us an incredibly memorable performance that we will reminiscing for a lifetime. We hired him for a 70th Surprise Birthday Party at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. His performance was so amazing, you couldn’t take your eyes off his performance. We were so lucky to have had the opportunity for Eugene to perform at our event - he was the WOW factor we were looking for. We’re definitely going to book him again!
