Lead singers Karin Stein (Colombian) and Ed East (Panamanian), together with their talented band members, will have you tapping your toes and moving your hips to Mexican and Colombian cumbias, Dominican merengues, Caribbean salsa tunes, contemporary Latin pop tunes, and more! Tropicante, which is based in the Midwestern U.S.A., has been performing throughout the U.S.A. and abroad since 2002, at corporate events and campus events, festivals, and international concert series. The ensemble has also been featured on a variety of TV and radio shows both in and outside of the U.S. Lead singers Karin and Ed also offer a variety of bilingual workshops along with their performances.
