Americana/Country/Folk Pop artist playing original or cover music
Julie Williams is a rising force in Nashville’s Americana and country scene, blending classic storytelling, indie-folk production, and a soft-yet-powerful vocal style. A CMT Next Women of Country and Billboard Country Rookie, she is a member of the Black Opry Revue and her breakout single “Southern Curls” earned coverage from CMT, PBS NewsHour, and major music outlets. A seasoned touring artist, Julie has performed at Newport Folk Festival, CMA Fest, Tortuga Fest, High Water Festival, Cayamo, and AmericanaFest, and has shared the stage with artists including Jason Isbell, Allison Russell, Mt. Joy, and Brittney Spencer. Her 2024 EP Tennessee Moon was praised by Billboard, Entertainment Tonight, and NPR critic Ann Powers. In 2025, Julie joined a sold-out Nashville Symphony show with Dolly Parton and is currently touring nationally with Dolly Parton’s Threads. Her new song, “The Women Who Made Me,” is a tribute to the women who shaped her life, with a video featuring Trisha Yearwood.
