Raised amongst New York's top magicians, Alan Sands began his journey at three years old. "My father, George Sands, was a well-noted magician amongst magicians and part of the inner circle of the best." Alan jokes, "I've been on stage since before I was born!" Alan's childhood was steeped in magic. At age three, he first appeared on stage helping his father. By twelve, he had won his first talent contest, setting the stage for his professional debut at 17. Alan refined his performance skills in San Francisco, performing at Fisherman’s Wharf. There, he developed a talent for making audiences feel instantly comfortable. "I would mentally treat my audience as if they were in my backyard." This ability to connect and make audiences laugh ensured that they stayed engaged until the finale.
