Have you ever walked into a bar, café, or boutique store, and received *remarkably* poor service? I’m not talking about a busy la Colombe or an understaffed Woodbury Commons outlet. I mean walking into a place of business where you don’t feel welcome– and it kind of feels like it’s done on purpose. You get the impression that *you* are the one who is supposed to ‘wait for it,’ ‘work for it,’ ‘just be cool,’ or figure out how to ‘fit in.’ The thing is, not all DJs who are booked for private events see helping people celebrate a unique chapter in their lives as their final destination. For them, it pays the rent while they wait for a chance to DJ at Marquee. Not me. I live for private, specially-programmed events.
