Hailing from Houston, Texas, BuddieRoe burst onto the scene by winning the H-Town Rap Battle, defeating some of the South’s most formidable MCs. This victory led to collaborations with iconic Houston artists like Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Delorean, and Doughbeezy. Despite these partnerships, BuddieRoe’s individuality shines through, especially in standout projects such as SunRise Over BriarGate, Based On True Events and West Fuqua Kids, each showcasing his unique sound and storytelling ability.
His talent earned him the opportunity to open for Bun B at Spotify Presents: Rap Caviar in 2017, further solidifying his reputation. In 2022, BuddieRoe was featured on the best-selling video game NBA 2K22 with tracks “Flying Into Fire” and “Follow Me,” continuing his rise as a force in the industry. Most recently, the young emcee headlined the inaugural Halftime Show for the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship alongside Hip hop Icon Bun B, planting his flag in Hip Hop history.
