Koji Cassetta

Koji Cassetta is an New York City based award-winning upright and electric bassist from Detroit, MI. He studied under world renowned bassist Rodney Whitaker, and has played all over New York City, including Lincoln Center, The Django, Minton’s Playhouse, and more with esteemed musicians such as Tim Ries, Jerome Jennings, David Gilmore, Randy Napoleon, Lewis Nash, Kush Abadey, and many more. Having received quality musical training, both in Detroit and in New York City, he is versatile in jazz, R&B, pop, soul, funk, classical, hip-hop, and Brazilian traditions.
