Antique typewriters. Live poets to operate them. Bespoke poems for your guests to take home. The Austin Typewriter Poets Collective brings a classy, novel, and interactive experience to any wedding or event. Curious guests approach and we ask them for a topic. We then improvise a poem based on that topic (generally in less than five minutes) and read it aloud. Finally, we hand it over for them to keep. We’ve written thousands of poems for thousands of folks. People are invariably enchanted by the experience and are thrilled to take a custom, typewritten poem home.
