With a live touring career spanning 22 years, Cain has an eclectic style incorporating, Classic Rock, Reggae, Americana and Jazz. In the past decade he has taken his solo show to countries all over the world, working for premier cruise lines like Seabourn & Holland America. As an original artist, Dave Cain, performs songs he's written with Walker Hayes, Alissa Moreno, Thousand Horses & The Last Goodnight. In 2018 Cain had the pleasure of playing the Key West Songwriter Festival and in recent years has produced, engineered, and played on songs for names like Kenny "Big Kenny" Alphin(Big and Rich), Walker Hayes, Gabe Dixon,

Dave Cain's live show incorporates on the spot, improvised "live looping", where he layers, guitar riffs, beatboxing, and bass, all in real time, to generate a sound much like an acoustic full band. This sound can be large or intimate depending on the venue and audience. Cain always adjusted to the listeners & atmosphere in front of him.
