Indigo has a complex global history. By learning about the plant, the people, and the places it is cultivated, you connect with a deeply creative part of your humanity. Before there were synthetic dyes, there was a beautiful deep blue color created by green plants, called INDIGO. This experience is best as a pre-made gift or as an activity where your group doesn't mind getting a little bit messy! Natural fabrics can be made into custom blankets, towels, clothing and handkerchiefs, or we can also make stationery and other small gifts. If desired, the history and impact of indigo can also be shared with your group, which deepens the experience.
