Weldon Fulton

Weldon is a dynamic musician with a wide range of influences. Weldon is the Owner/Operator of the Carl Institute, an art house production company dedicated to experimental music and improvisation. Weldon is also an expert guitarist in jazz, electronica, avant-garde and hard rock. In 2024 Weldon earned his BA in Jazz Performance from Texas State University. Weldon's Jazz Combo has been performing in and around Austin since 2019. Their repertoire consists of classic cool jazz, bossa nova, hard bop from the 50s and 60s often with a vocalist. Weldon also occasionally helms the fusion band Dogged who perform a variety of jazz, rock, metal, and pop.
