Sara Milonovich

"From Black Tie to Barndance": Sara Milonovich is an award-winning fiddler with over 25 years of professional experience. Among the last generations to learn traditional fiddle music firsthand, from the grange halls and barn dances of the Adirondack mountains to the Irish pubs of NYC, she has since performed professionally throughout the US and worldwide. She has spent years touring and recording with bluegrass, Americana, and Irish bands; playing everywhere from acclaimed concert halls to festivals and square dances, including touring Eastern Europe as a US State Dept. musical ambassador and performing regularly as a featured soloist on a hit Broadway show. While also classically trained, and adept at performing classical violin repertoire as well, Sara's specialty is authentic fiddle music - whether bluegrass, Appalachian stringband, New England, or Celtic styles!
