Event Typewriter Poet

With a typewriter, water-colored paper, and the art of poetry I create poems for guests based on their prompts and stories connecting the human experience with their individual story. I read the poem aloud and gift it to the guest, including the date and location as a keepsake that often people say they treasure and has a special place in their home. The interaction is often met with profound emotive responses varying from laughter to amazement to tears. Typical engagement lasts 4-9 minutes and creates meaningful, memorable art and experiences that holds impact long after the event and is often given a special place in the homes and lives of the recipients.
