Kiran Gupta Cage Free

Kiran Gupta Cage Free is a jazz organ trio consisting of Kiran Gupta on Hammond organ, Jake Patterson on guitar, and Daniel Cox on drums. This Nashville-based band has gained a reputation of creating a fusion of styles and sounds that blend the old with the new – taking on old-school jazz and blues, with new age soul and funk. They have performed extensively in Nashville, including venues such as Rudy’s Jazz Room, Dee’s Lounge, Eastside Bowl, and The Inaugural Tiny Font Festival at Vinyl Tap.In September of 2025, they were selected to perform at the first ever “Meet and Three Local Music Showcase” and the beautiful Harken Hall in Madison, TN. In the Fall of 2025, they developed a show called “Funk for the Family,” performing funk versions of nursery rhymes and children’s songs for kids and their parents to critical acclaim. Kiran Gupta Cage Free specializes in what they call Mind Body Soul Music, hoping to inspire listeners to think a little, move a little, and to feel everything.
