Dionne Hunter is an internationally recognized, award winning performance poet, author, host, U.S. Navy veteran, and cultural arts producer. Her live performances are powerful, heartfelt, and engaging, blending original poetry, storytelling, reflection, and audience connection. Dionne specializes in performances centered on healing, hope, resilience, identity, Black history, women’s empowerment, veterans, family legacy, mental health, and community wellness. She also offers poetry workshops that help participants use creative writing, performance, and storytelling as tools for self expression, confidence, healing, and connection. As the founder and producer of A Night of Artistic Renewal, Dionne can tailor her work to fit each client’s event, offering a featured poetry set, custom written poem, inspirational opening or closing, hosting, emcee services, poetry workshops, or a meaningful artistic experience designed to uplift and connect the audience.
