The Chancellors

The Chancellors, are a driving machine of funkadelia and dance music ranging from Smokey Robinson to Michael Jackson, Sly Stone to Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power to Chaka Khan It all started at Seattle's Royal Room... Armed with a tight rhythm section, blazing horns, and some of the best vocalists in the PNW, The Chancellors are a party machine, performing the greatest hits of Funk, R&B, Motown, Soul and Pop. It all began when Seattle venue The Royal Room needed a band to to host “Columbia City Party Night”, a neighborhood throw down at the end of every month. Players were called, music was made, and The Chancellors quickly got the attention of their audiences with their high energy performances. The Chancellors have been funking out it every way for weddings, private events, and public concerts since 2015. Some notable past clients include the Bite of Seattle, F5 Networks, Amazon, The Seattle Downtown Association, Microsoft, and Chateau Ste Michelle
