Poet Nika Renee

Nika Renée is a poet, storyteller, teaching artist, and live typewriter poet based in Kansas City, Missouri. She creates one-of-a-kind poetry experiences that transform conversations, celebrations, and everyday moments into lasting keepsakes. Nika invites audiences to slow down, connect, and heal through poetry. Heavily Influenced by Sufi Mystic poetry Nika facilitates creative writing workshops, spoken word performances, storytelling experiences, and community arts programming that encourage healing, self-expression, and authentic connection. Her work explores themes of identity, belonging, resilience, Black culture, ancestry, nature, and the beauty found in everyday life.
