Howdy! My name is Leah Dawn and I am an Austin/Houston based singer, songwriter, guitar player, and bass player. I am a storyteller that draws from my own life experiences as well as that of others to capture the emotion, joys, and struggles of everyday life in my original music. I lean towards country music but I also enjoy playing 80's and 90's rock and pop. I can play a mixture of covers and originals or whatever the client prefers. My album “Livin' the Dream” is available on all the streaming sites. I play with a 5 piece all female country cover band in Austin called the Rhinestone Renegades. I can play solo, 5 piece, or anywhere in between depending on what the event calls for. Awards and Recognitions: - Selected as a performer at The Texas Women Songwriters Festival in Lockhart, TX - September ‘25 and ‘26 - Won 3rd place in the Music Association of Central Texas (MACT) Songwriter Competition in Waco, TX- 9/22/25 - Won 2nd Runner up in the Texas State Songwriters Championship for Female Songwriter of the year (season 12) in Electra, TX - 3/15/26 - Opened for Tish Hinojosa at Girl Guitar concert in Austin, TX - 4/11/26
