My live performances are built around creating the right atmosphere for the event. As a solo performer, I use live looping, guitar, vocals and harmonies to create a fuller sound than a traditional acoustic set, while still keeping the flexibility and intimacy of a solo performance. My setlist covers a wide range of recognizable music across decades and genres, and I tailor each performance to the room. That might mean laid-back background music for a cocktail hour or dinner, an upbeat mix for a corporate event, or bringing in a duo, trio or full band when the event calls for more energy. I don’t approach every event with the same predetermined set. I read the room, take requests when appropriate, and adjust the music, energy and setup to fit the audience and the moment.
