We’ve been sold a definition of resilience. Bounce back. Tough it out. Power through. But what if that mindset is what’s holding us back – from clarity, confidence, and energy? In this high-impact, story-driven keynote, tech founder and leadership expert Tissa Richards dismantles the outdated model of resilience and introduces a radically different approach: intentional resilience. With humor, honesty, and unforgettable personal stories, Tissa shows you how to tap into your most powerful competitive advantage, so you can thrive through disruption and make decisions with confidence and clarity. You’ll walk away with a powerful, actionable framework (Reflect - Repeat - Replace) to build the habits of intentional resilience and learn how to apply them immediately in both your life and your leadership. Whatever you’re navigating, you’ll leave anchored, energized, and equipped. This isn’t a pep talk. It’s a playbook. Are you ready to rethink resilience – and fuel what’s next?

Rethinking Resilience: Fueling Your Life & Leadership

Get considered for bigger opportunities. Make your value easier to recognize. Negotiate from a stronger position. And stop relying on other people to connect the dots between what you do and why it matters. The way you talk about yourself has real consequences - for visibility, credibility, compensation, influence, and confidence. In this session, Tissa Richards shows you how to shift from describing your capabilities to declaring the outcomes you create. You’ll learn how to get to the “so what,” eliminate vague leadership platitudes, and articulate your value in language that is specific, differentiated, and memorable.Because when you can clearly name the impact you create, other people can see it faster - and you start seeing it differently, too.
