Clare Cunningham

Clare Cunningham is an Irish-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, award-winning recording artist, and powerhouse vocalist known for her extraordinary versatility, commanding stage presence, and ability to connect authentically with audiences. From intimate acoustic settings to high-energy corporate events and full-band performances, Clare brings a dynamic repertoire spanning Irish and Celtic music, folk/Americana, country, classic and contemporary rock, blues, pop, gospel, and inspirational music. Her distinctive raspy, soulful voice allows her to move effortlessly between genres, making her an ideal choice for events requiring a performer who can adapt to the room while maintaining a unique artistic identity. Born and raised in Collon, County Louth, Ireland, Clare began building an international career before relocating to Nashville in 2018. Prior to moving to the United States, she fronted the Swedish all-female rock band Thundermother, signed to Warner Music Sweden, touring extensively and sharing stages with major names in rock. Since establishing herself in Nashville, Clare has performed extensively throughout the United States at corporate events, private functions, festivals, theaters, listening rooms, churches, and special events. In March 2023, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut, sharing the stage with her childhood hero, Garth Brooks. That same evening, legendary singer-songwriter Steve Earle invited Clare to join him for a performance of his hit “Galway Girl.” Her career has earned numerous awards and nominations across country, Americana, Christian, rock, and independent music, including Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 Josie Music Awards and Multi-Genre Artist of the Year in 2025, along with recognition from the Inspirational Country Music Awards, World Entertainment Awards, Tennessee Songwriters Association International, and others. Clare’s Christian faith is central to who she is and to her mission as an artist. Her motto, “a voice for the voiceless,” reflects her desire to use music not only to entertain, but also to encourage, uplift, and connect with people from all walks of life.
