At its essence, leadership is the ability to inspire and influence others to work together towards a shared vision or goal. It involves setting a clear direction, motivating and empowering others, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. To lead with authenticity, a leader must be true to themselves and their values. This means being honest and transparent with others and making decisions that are consistent with their beliefs and principles. To build a championship culture leaders must build trust and credibility with their followers. Only this will inspire others to follow their lead. In this presentation, Jennifer will share what it takes to build a championship culture by defining your values, clearly establishing the ultimate goals and trust, and having a vision for what winning looks like. It is critical to make sure that the members of the team want to be the best they can become. Sometimes we are in situations where we can’t hire or chose our teammates, so setting clear expectations is key. Championship teams Jennifer coached and played on valued all roles, and the respect of each roll was critical to the championship culture. They were built on work ethic, trust, and positivity.
