Josh and Nicole Johnson are a married couple that make up the Nashville-based duo Elenowen (a name lent from the middle names of their parents “Ellen” and “Owen”). With ever-present harmonies that fans have come to know and love, the duo’s sound is a blend of folk-pop and alternative-rock. After appearing as contestants on the first season of NBC’s The Voice in 2011, the duo toured extensively, steadily growing their fanbase all over of the country. In between tours, Elenowen has had music placed in film and TV shows such as Outer Banks, Nashville, & Pretty Little Liars. The couple continues to write and record, and loves performing original songs and covers ranging from Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac to Harry Styles and Taylor Swift.
