Phillip-Michael was born in Michigan, forged in Chicago, and resides in Nashville, TN. He grew up with B.B. King calling him “nephew” and calls his music "Dive Bar Soul," a blend of Indie Rock storytelling and the passion of the blues. In February of 2022, he caught the attention of Ellen Degeneres who featured him on her show. He has opened for Keb' Mo', Jerry Cantrell, and Caravan Palace.
For events, he performs on acoustic guitar and has played a variety of events from intimate romantic settings (boat rides, proposals) to 100's of people (weddings, parties, corporate events). Priding himself on professionalism and the ability to read and engage a crowd, he'll handle the music so you can focus on your guests.
