Cast Iron Cactus (CIC) is a Roots Americana Band from New Orleans, Louisiana. The current members are Patrick Cooper on guitar and vocals, Mark Carroll on guitar and vocals, Keith Esparros on bass guitar and vocals, and Guy Dupantier on drums and vocals. Sometimes Bob Worth subs on bass guitar and vocals. Original member Jorge Santamaria (drums, percussion and vocals) moved to Richmond, VA in July, 2022. CIC plays original material as well as covers from their musical heroes (Dave Alvin, Lucinda Williams, Ry Cooder, Willis Alan Ramsey, John Prine, Hank Williams, Sr., Slim Harpo, among others).
