Margie Perez is a versatile singer-songwriter, blending Blues, Pop, Latin music with New Orleans flair. Offbeat Magazine recognizes her as one of the hardest working musicians in the city. Her album "Love Is All" earned three "Best of the Beat" award nominations and was named one of the Best 100 CD's in 2017. She leads her own band that plays her original music and fun covers, and leads Muevelo, a Cuban Big band, and Margie Perez and Her Trio Latino which debuted at Jazz Fest in 2023. She contributes vocals to the Afro-Cuban Spiritual group Michael Skinkus & Moyuba, Kumasi Afrobeat Orchestra, N.O.B.A.B.E, and The M&M's. Margie collaborated and performed with esteemed New Orleans musicians, including backing up Allen Toussaint, Leo Nocentelli of The Meters and singing alongside Harry Connick Jr in 2020 on CBS.
