Contemporary Violinist Brooke Alford is an R&B/Soul Jazz International Charting Artist, Smooth Jazz "2022 Breakout Artist Nominee", International Teaching Artist, Recording Academy Voting Member, and a 2022 Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Listee. Often compared to the likes of world-renowned Violinist Regina Carter, Noel Pointer, and Jean Luc Ponty. Ms. Alford has gained inspiration from these three pioneers of contemporary violin playing along with several other instrumental and vocal artists through her decades of playing. Ms. Alford has toured with music Icons such as Stevie Wonder and Beres Hammond, and opened for Najee, Will Downing, and more.
Ms. Alford has been coined as “The Viosocalist” and “The Artist of the Violin” since the start of her 2007 career because of her smooth, soulful, and vocal-like sound and approach in her playing. Ms. Alford has recorded and released 2 albums and 3 EPs.

The Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities invited Brooke for our 'Come Sunday' Jazz Series on the lawn of the Historic Boyd House in Southern Pines, NC. Our crowd was so well entertained by the band and her special guest. Brooke is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. She is able to captivate an audience through her warmth, storytelling, and magical musical ability. The day following the event, Brooke conducted two masterclasses with a Retirement community and with an elementary school and was able to reach both age groups on their own levels and make them really feel her music. Brooke's manager is kind and so easy to work with. We had such a great experience that we have already invited her back next year. We love you, Brooke!
