Bryce’s enthusiasm for sport and fitness took a twist in his mid-40’s when he started dancing. He played basketball in high school and college and continued that interest in recreation and church leagues. In search of a lower-impact sport, Bryce took up Ballroom and Country dance. He shares that passion and joy both as a dance competitor and special event leader. With six Country Dance World Championships to his name, he not only coaches competitive dancers, but also leads line dance and partner dance workshops for community, church, and corporate groups. One of his most joyful experiences was teaching line dance to an energetic and happy group of Special Olympics athletes. Bryce's typical engagements include teaching various-sized groups at party or team-building events. At conventions and fundraising events, he also performs with professional partners.
