Professional musician since 1993. Born and raised in El Salvador, Central America, has been part of numerous bands and orchestras, from jazz, to blues to rock and latin music as a guitarist, and also has recorded in more than 18 records for different artists. In 2015 he put out an all-instrumental guitar Album, called "Gracia Activa",showcasing all his musical influences. In 2017 he moved to Texas to pursue a career in music and has blended with the community, as a member of several bands from country to southern rock. At the moment he works as a solo guitarist playing a wide range of music genres from jazz, blues, bossa nova, flamenco guitar, instrumental guitar , also singing classic rock, country and blues, even doing music therapy for patients with cancer at local clinics and hospitals. Jaime Varela also has his own band called Jaime varela 3rio, performing classic Texas blues, funky and catchy tunes, with a latin twist, perfect for a fun event!
