Public Speaker with a focus on Sobriety & Mental Health, Creative Process, and Allyship/DEI
My name is Nathan Dohse, I am a 15-year music industry veteran. In 2019 I found my sobriety from alcohol abuse. The realization that my addiction was a form of medicating my undiagnosed neurodivergent and cyclothymic symptoms gave me new insights as to how I came to my successes and failures throughout my career. So, much of my public speaking is focused on mindset within the creative process and helping creatives of all kinds avoid burnout, addiction, and depression over their career development journey. In my career, I have overseen the release of 400+ artist's projects. I have seen the many ways that putting your creative work into the world can take a toll on self-esteem amongst hundreds of other internal challenges. I have also been witness to the many ways in which discrimination can block or isolate the opportunities for creatives from marginalized groups and I have made it a point to speak to these issues within the music industry and other creative fields.
