Percussionist and Singer-Songwriter
Pauline Roberts is a percussionist, singer, and composer based in NYC. Originally from Buenos Aires, she received a grant from the National Arts Foundation (AR) for the commission of new pieces for vibraphone + electronics. She became the interviewee of Frank Zappa's archivist, discussing "The Black Page #1." She has performed at PASIC 2023, the Parsons Benefit Gala 2023, and presented an original composition at Sweetwater’s Studios. Pauline brings mastery in contemporary percussion/electronics, crafting boundary-pushing performances that captivate diverse audiences. Her Argentinian roots infuse a unique cultural richness, blending rhythms + textures from rock, pop, avant-pop, and experimental music. As the first woman in 18 years to graduate from Argentina’s National University of Arts percussion program, she stands as an inspiring role model, especially for events focused on innovation + representation. She is willing to tailor her performances to match the energy of any event.
