Carter Nelson

From Tallahassee, FL, and now paving his way as a budding guitarist in Nashville, TN, Carter has been surrounded by music his whole life. Influenced at an early age by the instrumentals of John Butler, Fleetwood Mac, and Led Zeppelin to name a few, Carter has been able to expand his multi-genre musical range over 10+ years. Originally training in Classical guitar and expanding his repertoire to include electric Rock, Jazz, Pop, and Country, Carter has wowed audiences from small banquet halls to iconic Nashville venues. Carter played in NAFME's All-National Classical Guitar Ensemble, All-National Modern/Electric Band Ensemble and FMEA's All-State Classical Guitar Ensemble for 3 years. As a graduate of Belmont University's Commercial Music program, he's had several opportunities to perform in front of Nashville crowds as the lead guitarist for the renowned Belmont Pops Ensemble. Carter has been gigging solo and with bands around Nashville while also writing his own music.
