Edwin Vazquez

My performance is eclectic consisting of original and cover songs with a unique conceptual sound both in English and Spanish. My singing and guitar playing have a flair of Soul, flamenco, jazz and Bossanova with funky grooves. I also do a very convincing imitation of the horn and play cajon while singing and playing guitar. I sometimes as an ensemble use percussion, violin, flute and piano. I've recorded with artists like Paul Simon on his Songs of the Cape Man CD that include prominent artists like Marc Anthony, Ruben Blades, Ednita Nazario, Danny Rivera and more. I've been on TV shows like Channel.47 Telemundo , Univision, and presently have songs from my Faith Album in a soon to be released SXSW Film Festival winning movie titled Brownsville Bred by Director Elaine Del Valle. I bring music that is for everyone with poetic lyrical content and musical colors.
