I’m a queer typewriter poet and prize-winning author who has performed at large-scale venues, including college campuses, cultural centers and West Hollywood Pride.

Being a typewriter poet is like peeking into someone’s story, and for a moment, helping them write it. In a world of AI and online shopping, typewriter poetry is a rare space where raw spontaneous connection still exists.

As a poet, I craft memorable, immersive experiences and help people articulate what lives inside them. I’m friendly, disarming and endlessly curious about strangers.

I also come dressed for the part, which can include costumes, stage makeup and vintage clothing.

My writing style:
I specialize in haiku and contemporary poetry. My work is poignant yet relatable to wide audiences. I have 75k readers on Instagram (@poemsbysuri), and my book, But I Don’t Feel Empowered, is on shelves at Barnes & Noble and bookstores worldwide.

At age 3 Hayden Baker received a small scale, Mark II acoustic guitar that was signed by the most successful country music duo of all time. Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn. Underneath Ronnie’s signature, he wrote the same single word of advice that the great Chet Atkins had told Ronnie when he started out…. “Hayden practice…..”. Hayden did.

Fast forward 20 plus years later and Hayden signed with Dunn's publishing company and has released multiple independent projects that have amassed hundreds of thousands of streams and he has charted singles in the Top 40 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. He has millions of TIKTOK views, 150,000+ Spotify listeners and millions of streams. Hayden is known for his ripping Telecaster guitar solos and knack for weaving the modern-day vernacular into the lyrics of his songs while keeping them undeniably country.

His guitar playing has garnered praise from heavyweight pickers like Brad Paisley who also recorded a duet with Hayden on his 2024 project.

Country music singer songwriter that can also play rock, blues, gospel and Top 40.

Swiss Army knife-storyteller: intersectional themes, multidisciplinary poetry

Saaret E. Yoseph

Saaret has remained a dedicated and creative storyteller. I highly commend her ambition to document the narratives and complex social dynamics that shape diasporic relations. Saaret maintains a depth of artistic and qualitative research experience, and she possesses a unique combination of dialogical openness, critical engagement, and advanced creative production skills.

J.R. (Wayne) Osborn - Georgetown University

Saaret is an extremely talented filmmaker and media teaching artist that has worked as a freelance media teaching artist with Meridian Hill Pictures. She co-facilitated two documentary filmmaking/media arts residencies for Meridian Hill Pictures. Saaret was handed a very difficult project that required her to facilitate a brand new pilot residency that walked a dozen middle and high school students through a transmedia storytelling project The expectations for Saaret were very high as she was facilitating the third year of an award-winning youth media arts program run by Meridian Hill Pictures and Sitar Arts Center called YouthDocs. She was able to simplify a very complicated process of creating 6 micro-documentaries for an online visual storytelling map with a dozen high school and middle school students. She is extremely dedicated and passionate about producing visual stories. It is very clear that this is her life's work and she believes in it.

Brandon Kramer - Meridian Hill Pictures

We have been fortunate to have Saaret serve as a media teaching artist on several youth media projects at Meridian Hill Pictures. In each instance, Saaret has been extremely creative, reliable and hard-working. Saaret is a gifted storyteller and the rare kind of filmmaker who can also thrive in a community-based setting as an educator and facilitator. Her sensitivity, empathy and ability to connect with young people of all backgrounds is impressive. With Saaret's support and guidance, I have witnessed dozens of young people who have never before make a film create a range of excellent short-form and transmedia documentary projects. I enthusiastically recommend Saaret.

Lance Kramer - Meridian Hill Pictures

I try to work with Saaret at every opportunity. She is the ultimate team player, sunny, warm and hyper-skilled, always able to find a way to pull off a project, no matter what obstacles arise. Her range of skills keeps growing every time we reconnect. I have seen her write, edit copy, wrangle writers and photographers, edit video, produce websites, teach students, conceptualize video treatments, pull off PR/marketing campaigns, all with a great polish. She is amazing.

"His personality showed through, even over Zoom"

While our firm families are separated, we are trying a variety of fun activities to keep people connected. We recently welcomed Alan Chamo into a virtual family gathering to perform his magic and mentalist show. It was a tremendous success. Firm members and their kids really enjoyed his energy and amazing showmanship. His personality showed through, even over Zoom. Our firm families had an excellent time and felt engaged and appreciated.

I would highly recommend Alan for any of your corporate events!”

As the organizer of this event, Alan was super easy to work with. I was given last-minute approval from leadership to hold this event for our department and had little time to set this up. Alan replied very quickly to all my emails, was amenable to our schedules, and was able to quickly customize the event to fit our organization. Our goal was to block out the stress of the world for an hour and just have FUN, and Alan knocked that out of the ballpark. It was very interactive and he was able to get volunteers from members of our organization who normally do not get much of the spotlight. Since most attendees were on video, it was clear to see just how much everyone was enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend Alan for any of your corporate events

Katie Perry - VMware

"I received a text from Bill saying, He’s stealing the show!!!"

Hi Alan, I want to thank you for an amazing session today. I enjoyed watching how you incorporated key messages of the day throughout the demonstration, and how you engaged the audience not just on video but through chat. During your performance, I received a text from Bill saying, “He’s stealing the show!!!” – but you already knew that ‘cuz you read his mind.

Sonia David - ANA

Alan Chamo was sensational! He was willing to work with me and advise me on ways to make this event even more successful and fun. The hotel where the show took place was charging a fortune for sound and lighting equipment, so Alan advised us on cheaper and more efficient ways to do the lighting and sound.

It is very hard to impress a room full of overly-skeptical lawyers, but by the end of the show, they were astonished by the amazingness of the show. I would recommend Alan to anyone and everyone!

Clifford A. Goldstein - The Chartwell Law Firm

I've had the pleasure of working with Alan twice now for our community events here at the golf club, and each time was a hit! Our residents couldn't stop talking about his show—both the stage performance and his close-up entertainment. Alan isn't just amazing at what he does; he knows exactly how to engage with an affluent audience—he’s professional, polished, and knows when and how to approach them. I highly recommend him for any high-end event!"

Red's Western brings two activations to your event: a custom hat bar and a live leather branding station. Guests design their own cowboy hat and press their initials into genuine leather — with a hot iron, in front of their eyes, at the event.

The Leather Branding Station
A hot iron pressed into real leather, live on site. Guests choose a leather good — passport wallets, key tags, hat bands, dopp kits, koozies, luggage tags, coasters, valet trays — then watch their initials, your logo, or the event mark burn in. It is the moment that stops people mid-conversation. Pairs with the hat bar or runs as a standalone activation.

The Custom Hat Bar
Guests pick their hat shape, color, bands, feathers, and accessories. A stylist works one-on-one with each person, then hot-brands initials or a symbol directly into the felt. They put it on and walk out wearing it. Two tiers: Rancher and Cattleman. Hot branding included in every tier.

Who You're Working With
Red's Western is led by Vanessa Vaught, a fourth-generation Texas leatherworker. Her great-great-grandfather opened a harness and bridle shop in Rockwall in 1926. She has been working leather since 2013. That heritage is behind every iron press at the station.

Red's Western is a sister company of Double or Nothing Two-Step, Austin's most recognized country dance instruction company (Texas Monthly, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, PBS, Tribeza, Austin Monthly). Book both and your group gets a full western activation: a dance lesson followed by the hat bar.

Fully staffed. Setup, guest flow, and breakdown handled. Travel included throughout the Austin area. Groups from 25 to 500+.

Live Digital Caricature Entertainment is a fun-filled option for your event as it is not only capturing your guests with a caricature but is presented as a live performance as well. I hand draw caricatures at events on my digital tablet. The guests watch the drawing being created live on a large flat screen. The guests being drawn receive an immediate print out of their caricature as well as an immediate link to a digital file. The design of the template includes your branding and is printed on a 4x6 card placed in a plastic sleeve. If two people are drawn together and don't live together, I will print out one drawing for each person.

My company decided to use Ellen Lustig's digital caricatures service at our booth for a trade show at the McCormick. We are very happy with Ellen, who enhanced our booth with a fun experience. Ellen drew on an electronic pad, while the progress was displayed on a large screen monitor. Several of our guests gave me great feedback of the experience. Ellen engaged with the guests to make them at ease while capturing the faces in details. Ellen's involvement definitely differentiated our booth! I highly recommend Ellen.

Jessa V brings the polish of a sophisticated New York vocalist together with the warmth, personality and spontaneity of a true live entertainer. With a remarkable four-octave-plus range, she moves effortlessly through jazz, contemporary pop, soul, rock, Italian favorites and unexpected mashups—creating performances that feel elegant and elevated without ever feeling predictable.
What makes Jessa especially distinctive is the way she reimagines familiar music. A composer and arranger as well as a vocalist, she creates many of her own arrangements and mashups. A classic standard may take on a contemporary edge, a familiar pop song may reveal its jazz roots, and an Italian favorite can become something completely fresh. Her repertoire spans generations, but the sound is unmistakably her own.
Jessa is equally comfortable creating an intimate atmosphere over cocktails and dinner or stepping forward and commanding the attention of a full room. She reads an audience naturally and knows how to let an evening build—from sophisticated background music to memorable performance moments that draw guests in.
Her performances are highly customizable. Jessa can appear with piano or guitar, a jazz trio, or her full band, Jessa V & The Fringe, with repertoire and instrumentation tailored to the venue, audience and occasion.
A native New Yorker, Jessa has performed at The Plaza, the Feast of San Gennaro, Ferragosto on Arthur Avenue and three times as part of New York City’s Columbus Day Parade. This New Year’s Eve marks her fifth consecutive year performing at The Mark Hotel, and she maintains a recurring engagement at Peck Slip Social in the Seaport.
Jessa also offers L’Americana, a contemporary program of Italian and Italian-American favorites reimagined through the perspective of a modern New York artist.
Sophisticated enough for the room. Distinctive enough to be remembered. Always unmistakably Jessa V.

Tricia led a communication workshop for our organization during a company-wide meeting, and it was one of the most impactful sessions we’ve had. She brought deep expertise and broke down common interpersonal and interdepartmental communication challenges in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand.

What set the session apart was its practicality. Tricia not only shared key insights and best practices, but also created space for us to apply them through interactive breakout sessions. Our team walked away with valuable takeaways that we’ve been able to use both professionally and personally.

She went above and beyond by providing a thoughtful recap afterward, helping us reinforce and sustain what we learned.

Tricia is dynamic, engaging, and inclusive, with a great sense of humor that makes her content even more impactful.

I highly recommend her to any organization or individual looking to strengthen their communication - whether verbal, nonverbal, or written.

Alison Harris, Hearts on Fire - Modern Diamond Jewelry

After working with Tricia I broke out of my shell. She taught me practical tools that helped me develop confidence. In my tutorials with her I was able to overcome the dislike of my voice and the fear I had in my heart. I made enormous progress in a short time and feel very grateful and encouraged.

Daryl Davis, Co-Founder of Seaside, FL

I attended the Speak with Confidence workshop and it was such a great experience. Tricia did an amazing job creating a space that felt both supportive and empowering.

Her guidance was clear, encouraging, and truly helped me tap into my voice in a deeper way. I left feeling more confident, more aware, and inspired to continue growing. I'm grateful for this experience and the energy she brings. I highly recommend Tricia!

Mina Moore, Through and Beyond

Tricia helped me view my fear of public speaking from an entirely new perspective. Using science, facts, and a little bit of exposure therapy in a safe environment she instilled a belief that one day I would be able to express myself clearly and with confidence. I will definitely attend future workshops!
