We are a 6 piece traditional New Orleans style group, playing hot jazz, swing, dixieland, big band tunes and other varieties. You may hear some Sinatra style "croon tunes," an Elvis or Chuck Berry song or maybe even a polka or two, especially around Oktoberfest season.

We have played many venues in the Metroplex, including weddings, corporate & private events, swing dances, parades, State Fair of Texas, and even some jazz funerals. Sometimes we have more musicians join us or swing dancers who always add some fun to the mix. Other settings call for a smaller, quieter group. If you are planning a dinner, cocktail hour or brunch you might enjoy having my trio or quartet to create a classy, jazzy ambiance for the occasion. Club/restaurant proprietors might like that style for weekend brunches. We can offer a variety of music from "soft and sweet" to "Bourbon Street."

Bring the flavor of old New Orleans to your event. Duo/trio for softer occasions like cocktails, dinner, brunch, or a larger band (3 to 7 members) to bring Bourbon Street to your doorstep.

The Dave Washburn Jazz band truly delivered! We had an outdoor venue, and everyone had a great time. The band sounded fantastic and read the crowd very well. We had a dancefloor brought in and the band had many of our guests dancing! We received many comments about our event and almost everyone mentioned how great the band was. They were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend The Dave Washburn Jazz band for your event. We will definitely be booking them again for future events. - Texas State Railroad

Terrific! We asked the band to play at a funeral and they were just perfect, injecting a bit of joy at the end of of a somber affair with just the right balance. Also Dave Washburn is very professional to work with and that much appreciated.

Working with the Dave Washburn band for a wedding was a great experience! They were very flexible and professional even when the weather changed our original plans. They truly added a special touch to the ambiance and every guest commented on how fantastic the band sounded!

Astin M. - Private wedding

If you have an opportunity to see these wonderful musicians play, you simply must. They are artistic perfection. My husband and I love New Orleans, and Dave Washburn's band is our French Quarter heaven right here in Dallas! Every member of the group is unbelievable talented, and their love of and respect for music translates into every note they play. They keep the crown singing, dancing, and head-bobbing for hours. Dave has a dreamy voice and a great sense of humor: truly a great band leader. They played at our wedding, laying the perfect groundwork for a joyous life. Support this band: A Local Treasure!

Vanessa H. - Private

We had a private celebration at our home and hired Dave and his band. Leading up to it, he spent time answering all of my questions so I knew how the evening would flow. He also answered all of my questions and handled requests for himself and the band. Load-in was on time with all members. The music was just perfect and amazing for our Roaring 20's Gatsby themed party. The music was just amazing. In addition to Dave's singing, he brought in a guest singer, Ruby Weston. Dave and band were great and Ruby was delicious icing on the cake! Appropriate breaks were taken and they played until the set end time of the party with no issues. Load-out was quick and easy. Dave was fantastic to work with on the planning and made it easy for me, the host. I know that I didn't have to worry about the band or members on event night. Rock solid, professional band. I HIGHLY recommend them for your event. Talk to Dave with your thoughts on your event. He helped me shape this and did not ru

We had the Dave Washburn and his jazz band play for our wedding, and they were nothing short of spectacular. Not only was Dave professional and easy to work with througout the planning process, but he delivered a wonderful music experience for us and our guests seemlessly on the day of. All afternoon our guests were begging to know where we'd found such a great band! If you like jazz and classic early century (last century, that is) hits, then these guys will deliver. They are simply tremendous and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a group to play at an event as well as to anyone looking to find some good tunes when out for a night on the town.

The Jukebox Heros DFW is a great group to work with, they accommodated our 70's style design and add a lot to the party!
When working with them, Philip was very communicative, the band arrived in a timely manner, set up smoothly, were very welcoming to the attendees, and made time for everyone to sing karaoke.
Working with the Jukebox Heros DFW was fantastic.

Eva Keidel - TEXAS ACADEMY OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS

They performed well over expectations. Thanks to them, our fundraiser went better than previously expected.

Chelsea Coffman - Hooters, Corp

My corporate event hired The Jukebox Heroes in September, 2022. As far as performance, we could not have asked for a better quality or more talented group. Their range of songs and genres is amazing. Most importantly to me is that they are an extremely nice group of people and very easy to work with. Our crowd was very diverse and international, and the band did not have a clear schedule for the evening up front. However, The Jukebox Heroes were extremely professional and ready to go when we asked. They played for two hours and all of the guests had a great time and will always remember it.

Jason Zwickl - Reinforced Earth

10 STARS!
Absolutely worth it! Total professionals! Phil was great to work with, he understood exactly what we were looking for and the band delivered above and beyond expectations for a diverse crowd. They whole band was great, easy to work with, flexible with minor schedule changes and got the crowd up and dancing immediately. They played a range of genres and did a great job of reading the room and even taking requests. Super smooth load in/load out. Good communication, quick to respond after booking and through day-of.

Absolutely on my short list when looking for future entertainment!

Nicole Greene - Texas Association of School Boards

Look no further, Jukebox Heroes DFW is the band your looking for! Professional, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. My company books a band this size every year for our annual conference, and this was the first year people were dancing and singing along! We had to make some changes to our programming about 30 minutes before the event kicked off and the team was available and understanding and ready to work with us. We will absolutely book again!
