How to Submit an Offer
You will receive one of two types of email notifications for a new event:
Email notification one: Potential Event Matches through our tag system - "New Event Posted!"
Email notification two: Invitations to Submit Offer from Client or EVA Admin
To find the event, log in your dashboard and head to the "Events" section. The event will also be linked in the email you receive.
In your dashboard, you will see a notification. From there, you will click and view the details of the event. The event page includes the following information:
At the bottom of the event page, you'll see the tags provided by the event planner. These will include the style of music, band setups, and song types they are looking to have for their event. Sometimes you'll notice a yellow icon indicating certain requirements from the entertainer. This information is usually about the PA system and if the event is limited to local entertainment.
Submitting Your Offer
Once you've decided that you're ready to submit an offer on an event, you'll press the "Submit Offer" button. Find your entertainer in the drop down menu, and select them. You will be taken to a form allowing you to enter the following details:
Format: Solo, duo, trio, or full band (ignore if you are a speaker or variety entertainer)
Performance Length (in Minutes): The performance length auto-populates based on the event details
Pricing: Our 10% fee is reflected here. Make sure this is one all-inclusive price, including your travel and PA/sound production.
Offer expiration: Set an expiration date for your offer. The client receives a notification two days before and two days after your offer expires. Offer becomes a soft hold in that time frame.
Rider Needs: Include any rider needs that you have (such as parking)
Short Note with Offer: Here you'll provide details on what is included in the offer price - travel, PA, lodging, band setup, etc.
Next, give everything a double check and press submit.
Offer sent! Great job -- you are now in what the EVA team calls the soft hold phase while the event planner reviews your offer.
